    Hello. I recently returned from Uzbekistan and was in search of some history of the region. I am currently reading The Great Game by Peter Hopkirk and thoroughly enjoying it (such adventure!). Googling books by Hopkirk, I came across your blog!

    Thought I’d leave a recommendation: I think you will enjoy “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” by Tahir Shah.
